How do I follow a piano lesson at my own pace?
When the teacher plays an example, set A and B around it and slow it to 0.5Γ or 0.75Γ in the Practice tab. Loop it while you copy one hand at a time, then both hands together.
How do saved sections help with longer lessons?
Save each exercise in a lesson as its own section, like "C major chord" or "left hand pattern". Next time, press the number keys 1β9 to jump straight to the part you are working on instead of scrubbing through.
Frequently asked questions
Does slowing a lesson down change the notes?
No. RepeatWatch uses YouTube's speed control, which keeps the pitch the same, so the chords and melodies you hear at 0.5Γ match what you play on your keyboard.
Can I use the speed trainer for piano exercises?
Yes. Loop an exercise at a slower speed and turn on the speed trainer. It raises the speed a small step every few loops, so you reach full tempo gradually.
