How do I turn YouTube timestamps into loops?
Quick answer
Paste the video's link and its list of YouTube timestamps below, and each chapter becomes its own loop link that opens RepeatWatch on that part. Each chapter ends where the next one starts, and the last runs to the end. One more link loops every chapter in order as a playlist.
Timestamp to loop tool
How do I use the timestamp tool?
- Copy the video link. Copy the address of the YouTube video from the browser bar or the Share button.
- Copy the timestamps. Copy the chapter list from the description or a comment, with one time per line, like "0:00 Intro" and "1:23 Chorus".
- Paste both below. Paste the link in the first box and the timestamps in the second.
- Open or copy a loop. Open any chapter as a loop, copy its link, or copy the link that loops all chapters in order.
Frequently asked questions
What timestamp formats does the tool understand?
Lines with times like 0:00, 1:23 or 1:02:03 anywhere in the line, such as "1:23 Chorus", "Chorus - 1:23" or "(1:23) Chorus". Lines without a time are ignored.
Can I change the speed of a chapter loop?
Yes. Open the loop, then pick a speed from 0.25× to 2× in the Practice tab. Share the link from the app afterwards and it keeps the speed too.
Does the tool send my timestamps anywhere?
No. The links are built in your browser from what you paste. Only an anonymous count that the tool was used is sent to analytics, without the video or the text.
