How to Get Your Kids Excited About Chores - Mindset MondayBig Life JournalPlay from here Loop
How do I explain responsibility to a 6 or 7 year old?
Keep it concrete: responsibility means doing the jobs that are yours, looking after things and people, and owning up when something goes wrong. The PBS KIDS and Sesame Workshop clips show small, real jobs, such as feeding a pet or helping a neighbor, that children can copy the same day.
Which video is for grown-ups?
Most of the playlist is for children in grades 1–2 (ages 6–8). The last video, Big Life Journal's tips on getting kids excited about chores, is for parents and carers, so you may want to watch it on your own first.
Frequently asked questions
How can RepeatWatch help with chores?
Open a clean-up song, press Repeat one and let it play while everyone tidies. To keep screen time short, set Stop after to end it after a few plays, or start the sleep timer.
Can I replay just one part of a lesson?
Yes. Set an A–B loop around the part you want, such as the explanation of rights and responsibilities, and it repeats until you stop it. You can save sections to keys 1–9 to find them again.
Are these videos from official channels?
Yes. They come from PBS KIDS, Sesame Workshop, Learn Bright, Scratch Garden, Khan Academy Kids, Storyline Online and other established children's channels. Videos play in YouTube's player, so YouTube may show ads.
