A tune and steady beat give children a pattern to hang the facts on. Hearing the same song many times lets them sing along, predict the next answer and, over time, recall facts without counting up.

How do I practise one times table at a time?

Open the song for the table your child is working on and choose Repeat one. Once they can sing along, switch to the All Mixed Up version, which asks the facts out of order.
