How do I practice one exercise from a warm-up video?
Set A and B around the scale or run you want, then loop it and sing along each time. Save it as a section so you can jump back to it in your next session with the number keys.
Can I slow down a vocal run to learn it?
Yes. Drop the loop to 0.75× in the Practice tab to hear each note of a run clearly. YouTube's speed control keeps the pitch the same, so you still sing in the right key, then speed it back up.
Frequently asked questions
How long should a vocal warm-up be?
Many coaches suggest around 10 to 15 minutes before singing, which is why several videos here are 10-minute routines. Pick one and play it start to finish before you rehearse.
What should I do if an exercise feels uncomfortable?
Stop and skip it. Warm-ups should feel easy, so stay in a comfortable range and ask a vocal coach if something regularly feels strained.
