How do I use A–B loops to learn French?

Set A and B around one phrase the teacher says, let it repeat, and say it along with them each time. French links many words together, so looping a short phrase helps you hear exactly where words join.

Does slowing down French help?

Yes, while you learn. At 0.75x it is easier to catch silent letters, nasal vowels and liaisons. Shadow the phrase slowly, then move back to normal speed so your ear gets used to natural French.
