What does starting a business actually involve?
You find a problem people will pay to solve, decide how you will make money from it, test the idea with real customers, then set up the legal, money and marketing basics. Most first businesses start small, often alongside a job, and grow as they prove that customers keep coming back.
How do I use RepeatWatch to learn from these lessons?
Treat Play all on repeat as a course and watch a few videos a day. Slow a lecture to 0.75× when taking notes, or speed a recap to 1.5×. Save the chapters of the long MIT sessions on keys 1–9, and A–B loop one explanation, such as how a business model works, until it sticks.
Frequently asked questions
Which video should I watch first?
Start with the Kauffman Foundation's "How to start a business, one step at a time", then the three SCORE "Simple Steps" videos. They cover the whole journey in plain language before the playlist goes deeper into ideas, customers and mistakes.
Do the steps apply in my country?
The thinking applies almost anywhere: test the idea, talk to customers, keep costs low. Registration, licences, permits and taxes differ by country and even by city, so check your local business registry and tax office before you start trading.
Is this legal, tax or financial advice?
No. These videos are educational and come from the channels that published them. They are not legal, tax or financial advice for your situation. Use them to learn the steps, then check local rules and talk to an accountant, lawyer or a free mentor before you register or borrow.
