What is the stock market?
It is a set of exchanges where people buy and sell shares, small pieces of ownership in companies. Prices move every day with news, expectations and emotion. Over long periods broad markets have tended to grow with company profits, but there have been deep crashes, and individual companies can fail completely.
How do I use RepeatWatch to learn this?
Play the list in order on repeat, from what a share is to how crashes work. Slow an explainer to 0.75× while you write down new words, A–B loop the part on market and limit orders, and save the sections you want to revisit on keys 1–9.
Frequently asked questions
Should I pick individual stocks?
Many evidence-based educators in this list explain that most professional stock pickers trail the market after costs, and that one company carries much more risk than a broad fund. This playlist teaches how the market works; it does not recommend buying any particular share.
What should I do when the market crashes?
Several videos here cover this. Falls are a normal part of investing, and selling in a panic can lock in losses. Educators suggest keeping money you need soon out of stocks, so a crash does not force you to sell. Nobody can reliably predict when crashes start or end.
Is this financial advice?
No. These videos are educational and come from the channels that published them. They are not financial, tax or legal advice, and nothing here predicts future prices. Rules and investor protection differ by country. For personal decisions, consider a qualified, regulated financial adviser.
