Why does customer service matter so much for a small business?
Small businesses rarely win on price alone. Friendly, fast and fair service brings people back, earns good reviews and word of mouth, and turns a complaint into a second chance. Many owners find that keeping an existing customer costs less effort than finding a new one.
How can I use RepeatWatch to train my team?
Play the list on repeat in a break room or training session, or pick one video for each weekly meeting. A–B loop a short example, such as how to reply to a bad review, and role-play it. Save key moments on keys 1–9 so new staff can jump straight to them.
Frequently asked questions
How should I answer a bad review?
Reply politely and quickly, thank the customer, avoid arguing in public and offer to fix the problem privately. Google Business Profile's videos show how to read and reply to reviews, and the HBR videos help with staying calm in a difficult conversation.
Do refunds and complaints follow legal rules?
Often, yes. Consumer protection laws set rules on refunds, returns, warranties and complaints, and they differ by country and industry. Check local regulations so your service policy meets the legal minimum before you add extras.
Is this legal, tax or financial advice?
No. These videos are educational and come from the channels that published them. They are not legal, tax or financial advice for your situation. Check consumer protection law where you trade when setting refund and complaint policies.
